 KAOS International Festival of Contemporary Collage
05/07/18 - 14/08/18 Mergentaler Gallery. Layer House, Kranj Art District, Slovenia  March 12th has been officially* declared #WorldCollageDay. To celebrate this international appreciation of the art of collage, international artist Nina Fraser will be hosting a collage workshop focussing on manipulation of imagery relating to nature and the contrasting urban landscape of the city. You will use magazine imagery to create your own landscape scenes that explores what it is to live in a city and how our relationship to nature changes based on our own personal situations. More importantly, it is a good excuse to have a lot of fun cutting up images, expanding our creative horizons, and witnessing the magic that is created from new, witty or disturbing new juxtapositions. Plus, collage is a great way to make new friends, and you get to enjoy a delicious brunch after the workshop courtesy of café TATI. |
