In a world saturated by selfies and carefully curated instagram profiles, It's about time to have some fun mixing it up. Explore the underlying meaning in commodity advertising, pull apart the messages that we are bombarded with everyday, and reconstruct a new identity, or a mistaken identity - it's up to your imagination. This workshop surrounds the notion of masks, using imagery from popular magazines and journals to allow us to explore and transform our idea of the 'ideal'.
Artist Nina Fraser will guide you through the process, from selecting imagery to composition, scale and using pattern, as well as methods to guide your own creative muse. Collage is a great way to explore new ideas, make new friends, and enjoy a delicious brunch after the workshop courtesy of café TATI.
